Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

GATE tests core engineering and science concepts for M.Tech admission and PSU recruitment. The General Aptitude section (15 marks, 10 questions) is identical across all papers. For CS/IT, the remaining 85 marks cover core CS subjects. GATE score is valid for 3 years.

3 hours total, 100 marks. General Aptitude: 10 questions = 15 marks. MCQ (negative marking: โˆ’1/3 for 1-mark, โˆ’2/3 for 2-mark) + MSQ + NAT (no negative marking for MSQ/NAT). Score valid for 3 years. Used for M.Tech admission and PSU recruitment.
