Editorial policy
How AISEA sources, checks, reviews and corrects study content. Last updated 28 August 2026.
Source standards
We prefer primary sources: official examination notices and answer keys, standards, vendor documentation and original research. Reputable textbooks and established educational references may support stable concepts. Each reviewed theory page identifies which claim group a source supports and when it was checked.
Fact-checking and mathematical review
Before reviewed content is published, we check answer keys, worked calculations, units, conditions and mathematical notation against the cited evidence. The publication gate rejects reviewed entries with incomplete source evidence, malformed notation or an expired review window.
Human review
AISEA's editorial desk is responsible for the published result. A reviewer checks the learner-facing page, not only the source data, and records the review date, review notes and validation methods. Automated checks support this process but do not replace human responsibility.
AI-assisted content
AI tools may help with drafting, restructuring or quality checks. AI output is not treated as a source. Factual claims must be checked against the listed evidence, calculations must be independently verified and consequential edits require human approval before publication.
Update cadence
Stable theory is reviewed when a correction is received or the underlying curriculum changes. Exam pages are checked against the active cycle. Rapidly changing AI and software topics carry a next-review date and are withheld when that review expires until their evidence is refreshed.
Corrections and service target
Readers can report a page or question with its URL and proposed correction. We target an acknowledgement within five business days and a decision or progress update within ten business days. Substantiated errors are corrected promptly; material changes update the page's review notes and date.
Question quality
We require readable wording, a defensible answer, a useful explanation and visible provenance. Previous-year questions retain their exam, year, paper, question number and available official answer-key link; original AISEA questions are labelled as authored practice.
Exam notes
Patterns change. Exam pages are study context, not application instructions. We link to the relevant authority and ask learners to confirm the active official notice before applying or sitting an examination.
