IIT Madras has published the revised GATE 2027 DA syllabus. AISEA supports selected prerequisite concepts; it does not currently provide complete DA syllabus coverage or a full GATE DA mock test. The GATE mock catalog on AISEA is for CS/IT.

GATE 2027 DA: 65 questions (10 General Aptitude + 55 subject), 100 marks, three hours. General Aptitude carries 15 marks and the DA subject carries 85 marks. The separate 13-mark engineering-mathematics allocation used for CS does not apply to DA. MCQ negative marking is 1/3 or 2/3 mark; MSQ and NAT have no negative marking, and MSQ has no partial marking.
The official DA syllabus includes probability and statistics, linear algebra, and calculus and optimisation. The probability exercises below offer foundational practice; they do not cover the full statistical-inference or matrix syllabus. Study the revised PDF and use official DA past papers to identify the expected depth.

No. DA and CS have different paper codes and subject syllabuses. They share some mathematical and programming foundations, but a CS preparation plan or mock does not establish full DA readiness.
The published common pattern has 65 questions, 100 marks and three hours. DA allocates 15 marks to General Aptitude and 85 to the subject. Its mathematics topics are within the DA subject syllabus, rather than the separate 13-mark engineering-mathematics allocation used for CS.
The organiser’s downloads page provides official DA question papers and answer keys for available years. AISEA has selected foundational exercises and original examples, but no full DA mock catalog currently. Its CS/IT mocks are a different paper.
